Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American broadcast reporter. Most well-known for her anchoring of the CNN morning program At This Hour, Bolduan is a broadcast journalist from America. Her previous roles included co-host on the CNN weekday Morning Programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan was a key part the award-winning CNN coverage of the presidential elections of 2012 and in 2016. Bolduan was a correspondent from Washington, DC covering activities in and around the US House of Representatives and Senate. Bolduan was the Capitol Hill Unit member when she was a reporter for the congressional calendar which included events like debates to increase the credit limit for federal government as well as the debates of the super committee. Bolduan worked as a correspondent for general assignments, covering such reports as the Christmas Day 2009 bombing attempt and the Supreme Court's landmark decision in the case of Obamacare. Also, she covered the introduction of stimulus programs in 2009. She began working for CNN Newsource in the year 2007. As a national reporter, she covered breaking news and feature reports for more than 800 CNN Newsource affiliates. Ealier she worked with NBC News MSNBC and WTVD-TV.
