Ina Garden is an American cookbook author who has received Emmy award. She hosts the oldest Food Network program, Barefoot Contessa. The show began in 2002. It will air for another 27 years. Ina started her career in the White House as a writer of documents on nuclear energy and also the budget. Her first impression was that her job as stimulating intellectually, however she soon lost interest, and purchased a tiny speciality store for food known as Barefoot Contessa. It was a huge success for 18 years, until she decided to sell it. Then she began writing her first cookbook. Numerous other books as well as magazines followed. The Food Network TV show also debuted, and was a huge hit. She sells many items, from the ingredients needed for food preparation to kitchenware, storage and even cooking equipment. Ina is a cook who has learned by herself that hasn't gone to a cooking academy and has never worked in an kitchen. Her name is known for her effortless way of entertaining and easy food preparation.
