Selena Gomez is an internationally well-known actress and performer. The Disney film Wizards of Waverly Place was one of Selena Gomez's most viewed projects. Selena Marie Gomez is her full name. Selena Marie Gomez was born in the city of Grand Prairie, Texas on the 22 in 1992. Amanda Cornett and Ricardo Gomez were the parents of Selena. Her mother was barely 16 when Selena became a mother. Her first professional acting job as a showbiz actress at the age of 9 as she was Gianna as Gianna in Barney and her Friends. The role was to be one of the children who got to play with the world's best-known reptile, the purple anthropomorphic dinosaur. Selena performed for many seasons, including season 7 and 8 from 2001 through 2003. Interesting fact: Demi Lovato, who was part of Barney's Friends in the same time period as well, worked alongside Selena. Selena Gomez tried out for several roles after she left Barney and his Friends, but she was unsuccessful. Her role was only a tiny one in the 2003 movie Mini Spies 3 (Spy Kids 3-D Game Over) as well as another role similar to Julie in Walker Texas Ranger: Trial by Fire. The film also featured her as Emily Grace Garcia, a role she developed a musical for in 2006's Brain Zapped.
