Selena Gomez is an internationally famous actress and singer. The Disney film Wizards of Waverly Place, one of the most prestigious projects she was a part of and has achieved the most success, is her project. Selena Marie Gomez is her full name. The full title is Selena Marie. The parents of Selena were Amanda Cornett and Ricardo Gomez. Selena's mother was just 16 an old when she was born. As a 9-year-old, Selena landed her debut in the world of showbiz by playing Gianna on Barney and her Friends. The role was to be one of the children who got to play with the world's best-known reptile, the purple anthropomorphic dinosaur. Selena worked for several seasons in season 7 and 8 from 2001 through 2003. Selena Gomez wasn't the only singer who sang in Barney & His Friends between 2001 and 2003. Demi Lorvato joined the cast too. Selena Gomez left the show and auditioned in several other films and programs, but did not have the most luck. Selena Gomez was cast as Julie on Walker Texas Ranger Trial by Fire and also appeared as a character in Mini Spies 3 in 2003.
